Dr. Scott slammed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Thursday, telling ‘The Ingraham Angle’ that people need to look at the organization differently because of its ineffective response to the coronavirus.
“The CDC has been around since the 1940s and its original purpose was to help fight malaria. But through constant mission, they have become something they were never meant to be,” Jensen said. ‘And for sure, it’s a political organization.’
Jensen accused the CDC of hampering the United States’ response to the coronavirus pandemic, saying they “messed up testing right out of the blocks.
“But what was even worse than that was once they realized they had missed it, instead of turning to someone who was already moving forward and getting help,” said jensen. “Epidemiologist Larry Brilliant said they should have swallowed their pride, turned to Germany and used their tests. But instead, the CDC kept us bogged down.
The CDC revealed Thursday that it was combining the result of viral and antibody tests for coronaviruses, possibly skewing the overall positivity rate.
