An eye-watering figure of €180million asking price has been set for Erling Haaland by Borussia Dortmund as he continues to be linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Despite only being 20, Haaland is already considered one of the best players in Europe currently. This however, was as a result of scoring an impressive 49 goals in 49 matches for German club Dortmund.

Premier League rivals and giants Chelsea and Man United, likewise Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona – have all expressed interest in signing Haaland. However,  the Norway striker will cost more than £150m this summer, according to ESPN FC.

The likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich have also been tentatively linked with moves for Haaland but it remains to be seen which – if any – clubs will be willing to meet Dortmund’s valuation.

Haaland netted 27 goals in 29 matches for Red Bull Salzburg before his move to the Bundesliga and is being linked with another move following a sensational campaign for Dortmund.

However, despite Haaland’s performances, Dortmund have struggled in the Bundesliga this season, drawing and losing as many matches as they have won to slip to fifth in the table, 18 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Dortmund have at least impressed in Europe and beat Sevilla 5-4 on aggregate in the last-16 stage of the Champions League to set up a quarter-final clash against Premier League champions-elect Manchester City.

Speaking about the speculation over his future last week, Haaland said:

‘I still have three years of contract [at Dortmund]. I am not worried about that.
