Don’t Jail Kindness! — Portable Begs EFCC, GTBank to Release VeryDarkMan

Controversial street-pop singer Portable has publicly pleaded with the EFCC and GTBank to release online activist VeryDarkMan, describing him as a helper of the people despite their past disagreements.
In a video trending on Instagram, Portable called for mercy, saying: “Please, because of God. Free VeryDarkMan. He’s my friend. He gives people food and helps many. I love people who help others.”
His appeal comes after VeryDarkMan was arrested outside a GTBank branch, shortly after visiting the bank. Though the reasons behind the arrest remain unclear, it has raised eyebrows across social media.
