Dina El Sherbini (Arabic: دينا الشربيني ) is an Egyptian actress and presenter , she was born on March 17, 1985.
Sherbini continued her studies at the University of October 6.
In November 2013, she was arrested in an apartment in Zamalek for drug addiction and in February 2014, the Cairo criminal court sentenced her to one year in prison and a fine of 10,000 pounds. She said she was surprised by the abandonment of her friends during her crisis, adding that those who supported her in her ordeal were Amr Youssef, Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor and her daughter Riham Abdel Ghafour. Ayat Hijazi, an Egyptian-American human rights activist, said she knew them well when they were together in prison. Medhat Hegazi spoke about Sherbini’s behavior. She said she treated women nicely and offered help to a street girl. Hijazi also pointed out that Al-Sherbini’s attempt to educate female prisoners is the basis of the portrayal.
