Dimitri Diatchenko
He had specialized in playing secondary Russian characters in titles like “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Dimitri Diatchenko passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 52, apparently after suffering a 220-volt electrical shock while working a week earlier on construction.
Born in San Francisco, Dimitri Diatchenko had Ukrainian, Greek and Swedish roots. He graduated with a degree in music from Stetson University in Florida, where he majored in classical guitar. As a solo guitarist Diatchenko released four albums.
Apart from playing one of the villains that made things difficult for the protagonist in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , he appeared in films such as Lieutenant O’Neil or Super Agent 86: a movie . He also lavished himself on shows like Sons of Anarchy .
