ACTOR DESMOND HARRINGTON
Prior to his successful acting career, Harrington was a laborer, landscaper, cold caller at a brokerage firm, and bartender in Manhattan. Her passion for acting began after a colleague asked her to attend an acting class.
He made his acting debut in Luc Besson’s The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc. Harrington went on to land major roles in movies like The Hole , Ghost Ship , and Wrong Turn . He was also part of the cast of Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi drama Taken portraying Jesse Keys, an alien abductee.
Harrington was cast as Detective Joseph “Joey” Quinn in September 2008, on the Showtime television show, Dexter. Later in December 2008, he landed a guest role on Gossip Girl portraying Jack Bass. He reprized his role in guest appearances in the show’s third season.
In January 2012, it was announced that Harrington would return to Gossip Girl in the “final third of the season”. During the same month, he had guest appearances on the season three premiere of Justified as Fletcher “The Ice Pick” Nix.
