Early life and education of Dennis Prager
The American presenter Prager was born on August 2, 1948 in New York, United States. He belonged to Modern Orthodox Jewish parents. He graduated from Brooklyn College with a double major in anthropology and history.
He joined the Middle East and Russian Institutes (now the Harriman Institute) at Columbia University’s School of Public and International Affairs from 1970 to 1972. At the University of Leeds, he studied international history, comparative religion, and Arabic.
Dennis Prager’s career
In 1976 he published a book, The Nine Questions People Ask About Judaism, with the help of his friend. The book met with great success and became a bestseller that was popular with all the major American Jewish movements.
He has published a few more books, Think A Second Time (1996), Happiness Is a Serious Problem: Human Nature’s Repair Manual (1999), Still the Best Hope: Why the World Needs American Values to Succeed (2012), The Ten Commandments: Still the Best Way to Go (2015).
