Cause of death of Soumitra Chatterjee
According to media reports, the famous Indian actor has passed away due to COVID-19 and encephalopathy. Some media reports say that Soumitra Chatterjee has tested positive for coronavirus.
After that, he was admitted to Belle Vue Clinic in Kolkata on October 6, 2020. But he did not survive and died at the age of 85.
