Daymond John began his career at FUBU (For Us By Us), a clothing company. He started it at his mother’s house in Queens. His mother supported him to start the business.

As he went to the next door neighbor and looked around him at the price he found selling for $10 each. Initially, he and his mother mortgaged his house for $100k to raise capital for the business.
John started his business by making the FUBU logo and made various types of hockey jerseys, jerseys and sweaters and collected superior orders.
