BIOGRAPHY OF DAVID MCCALLUM

David Keith McCallum, is a Scottish-American actor and musician born September 19, 1933 in MaryHill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was the second of two sons of Dorothy Dorman, cellist and David McCallum Sr, orchestral violinist.

He first gained recognition for playing secret agent Illya Kuryakin on the television series The Man from UNCLE in the 1960s. He has since gained renewed international recognition and popularity for his role as NCIS’ medical examiner, Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, in the American television series NCIS.
