David Lacey (born 1956) is an American Retired Investigative Auditor and Famous Personality from Los Angeles, California. He is famous for being the husband of Jackie Lacey (American politician and lawyer).
Since December 3, 2012, he has served as the Los Angeles County District Attorney. In fact, she Jackie was the first woman and the first African American to hold the position of Los Angeles district attorney.
He began his career after joining the office in 1986 as an Assistant District Attorney. The politician was later appointed chief deputy district attorney in 2011. In her successful career, Lacey handled numerous criminal cases, including the first race-based hate crime murder in Los Angeles County.
On March 2, 2020, David Lacey was embroiled in controversy after he was filmed pointing a gun at protesters. These rebels were Black Lives Matter activities that were standing outside his house. David even told them to get out of his door.
