DAVID CIVERA: HIS AGE, HIS PARTNER AND HIS CHILDREN

Published

on

Born in Teruel in 1979, from a very young age he began to stand out for his voice, which is why he began to participate in various events in his city and in nearby towns, for which he became known. It was at the age of 17 that he made his debut on television, Lluvia de estrellas, imitating Enrique Iglesias.

The space’s producer, which was also the producer of ‘Operación Triunfo’, counted on him for other programs such as ‘Canciones de nuestra vida’ and ‘Un siglo de canciones’, where he was part of the group of regular singers.

Although he was already beginning to have a musical career, he did not put aside his university studies in Computer Management Technique, but his work commitments prevented him from finishing them.

In 2001 he rose to fame thanks to Eurovision when he became the representative of Spain in the festival. Her ‘Tell her I love her’ reached sixth place, the best position achieved until Chanel Terrero achieved her great third position in 2022.

Later came ‘Que la detengan’, ‘Bye bye’ and ‘Rosa y espinas’, with which he became the king of summer songs for several years in a row. In 2007 he competed in ‘Look who’s dancing’, a program that he would end up winning.

Despite the fact that his popularity was still great, the truth is that his songs began to not have such an impact, so much so that he disappeared from the scene without making too much noise.

YOUR CURRENT PARTNER

It was in 2007 when he married Ana María Bendi, his longtime girlfriend, in a ceremony in his native Teruel. The couple has had two children, Daniel and Laura, who were born in 2011 and 2013. The arrival in the world of little ones made the singer decide to move away from the world of music, tours and television in order to spend more time with his family.
