He played over 1000 gigs before he got lucky and auditioned for Popstars . As a band member of Hearsay he had great success. The band sold over 3 million records worldwide. The group’s debut single was titled Plain and Simple (2001). It holds the record for being the seventh highest-grossing debut single of the 21st century in the UK.

After Hear’Say (active 2001-2002), she then released another best-selling single and her first album. Successful tours in Ireland and Great Britain followed. Their second album was not a success and the group broke up after just 18 months of collaboration.
