1. He gave his first musical performance at the age of 6 or 7 with his family at the local church. They sang Come, You Source .
2. He began taking piano lessons at a young age. However, he eventually lost interest as certain things were expected of him, which took the fun out of the whole process.
3. He got his first guitar at the age of 10. His father bought them for him. Caesar had promised his mother that as soon as they got him a guitar, he would start taking piano lessons again.
4. He believes his acoustic guitar helped him hone his songwriting skills. Since there are no filters and reverbs, it cannot hide its shortcomings.
5. When his father was tortured by music industry officials and executives, he was cynical about Caesar’s prospects as a singer.
6. In the 10th grade he failed his choir class. That same year he discovered the pot and began using and selling it.
7. After completing his high school education after graduating from high school, he moved to Toronto to find better opportunities for his music career. However, his early days in the city were so tough that he even had to sleep in a park.
