Jacobson was born on November 5, 1971. He was born in Michigan, United States, under the Scorpio birth sign. She is an American who belongs to the white ethnicity.

Jacobson was interested in journalism from an early age. He attended Andover High School, located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He then moved to Valley High School located in West Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1993 with a BA in English and Communications.

Jacobson’s journalism career began after he landed a television job in Traverse City, Michigan at WPBN/WTOM-TV. She worked there as a news anchor, editor, and producer. She then joined ABC’s affiliate station in Sacramento, KXTV-TV, and covered the NFL and NBA as a weekend sportscaster. She also worked for KXTV’s Monday Night Football and also hosted the KHTK-AM radio show.

Jacobson joined as an ESPN host in December 2002 and became a regular host on SportsCenter. He also co-hosted the show Cold Pizza and was the host of the ESPN aired show First Take. After his last day on First Take on December 30, 2011, he left ESPN on April 30, 2012.

Jacobson joined CBS in January 2013 and was given the opportunity to join CBS Sports. He also hosted CBS Sports Radio’s morning show and left TBD in the morning in 2014 to work full-time for CBS Sports Network.

Controversy

Jacobson was involved in a controversy whereby she cursed out Jesus and Jesus Touchdown from the University of Notre Dame in January 2008, while intoxicated. She later apologized for her mistake and this issue generated a lot of controversy that led to her being suspended for a week. In June 2012, she revealed that she was sexually abused by her babysitter.
