1. Initially he was obsessed with cinema and this obsession started when he was 10 years old.
2. The first horror film he saw was Wes Craven’s Scream (1996) at a friend’s house, and it intrigued him to the horror genre.
3. In an interview, he revealed that he was so obsessed with horror films and thrillers at one time that his parents were kind of relieved when he became a singer and not a serial killer.
4. He once got a Kubrick box as a Christmas present when he was younger and when everyone was asleep he watched The Glow Alone from midnight to 2am and he was blown away by all the scenes.
5. While studying at Leeds University he wrote about film and music for the Leeds student newspaper.
