Personal trainer

After being diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a form of inflammatory arthritis, Reynolds began exercising regularly and hired Brad Feinberg as his personal trainer. Feinberg prepared a special training regimen for Reynolds for the music video of Believer , in which he faced off against action legend Dolph Lundgren.

Feinberg shared his strength training routine in 3 days. The first day was reserved for Olympic lifting, which included cleans, slips and various deductions. The second day was reserved for chest and leg training. On the third day, they focused on drawing exercises. About two months before the video was shot, Reynolds was doing 3 to 5 reps for Olympic exercises, broken into 3 sets. The rep range has increased to more than 10 in the last month.

For other strength-training exercises, he kept the rep range between 8 and 15 for the first month. Last month, the rep range was increased to over 15. For the past month, he’s also focused on the upper body. He has also incorporated boxing and yoga into his routine. He did 3 days of weight training and 2 days of boxing, with 1 day reserved for yoga.

He also began following a disciplined diet plan to supplement his work at the gym. His daily 2900 calorie diet was divided into the following 5 meals:

Meal 1 – 4 eggs, rolled oats, 2 scoops of peanut butter, 1 cup of veggies, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Meal 2 – 1 cup berries, 1 cup almond milk, 1 cup water and 2 scoops protein powder

Meal 3 – 1 cup veggies, 8 oz. chicken breast, 6 oz. sweet potato or half a cup of rice

Meal 4 – 6 ounces. sweet potato or 1/2 cup rice, 7 ounces steak or chicken

Meal 5 – 2 tablespoons peanut butter and 2 rice cakes

Additionally, Feinberg ate carbs from Reynolds’ meals every third day. This was very useful in giving the popular singer a tattered look.

1. In 2016 he founded his own record label called Night Street Records. The Impressum label works under the umbrella of Interscope Records.
