Biography
Dakore Egbuson-Akande was born as Dakore Omobola Egbuson on 14 October 1978 in Bayelsa as the first child of her parents.
She attended Corona School and Federal Government Girls’ College in Lagos and Bauchi respectively. After secondary school, she proceeded to the University of Lagos to study Mass Communication but dropped out due to strikes.
However, she started her career in 1999 at the age of 21, and that’s when she came to the limelight.
In 2007, she starred in a movie titled “A Piece of Flesh” alongside other famous actors like Desmond Elliot and Genevieve Nnaji.
Although she started acting in 1999, she made her blockbuster movie in movie titled A Journey to Self in 2013.
