Between 1967 and 1971 she played Victoria Cannon, daughter of a powerful rancher, in El Gran Chaparral , a television fiction that became very popular. For this work she was nominated for two other Golden Globes, winning one more.
Divorced in 1959 from industrialist Robert W. Champion, half-brother of dancer Gower Champion, Linda Cristal joined actor Yale Wexler, with whom she had two children, Gregory and Jordan.
