Corbin Bleu

Corbin Bleu Reivers was born on February 21, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York (United States). Son of actor David Reivers , from a very young age, Corbin followed in his father’s footsteps. Being only a two-year-old baby, he already appeared in some television commercials. At the age of four he was signed by the modeling agency “Ford Model”, which would choose his face for campaigns for companies like Gap or Toys R ‘Us. At the same time he began taking jazz and classical ballet classes at the prestigious Debbie Allen Academy . At six he made his Broadway theater debut in the play “Tiny Tim is Dead,” where he played a mute boy. Corbin was just a kid and the world was already taking over, his artistic career was launched.

Shortly after, the Bleu family moved to Los Angeles, another city that is characterized by hosting stars of all kinds. There she began to appear in some television series, among which Ned’s School Survival Manual stands out , which is broadcast in Spain through the Nickelodeon channel.

Before becoming an international star thanks to his role as Chad in High School Musical , Corbin appeared in the film Mission without permission , in the musicals Footloose and Grease , and in the series Flight 29 Down . During these years he also starred in the series Jump In! , which also belongs to the Disney chain. At this time he obtained several secondary roles in well-known films and where he worked with famous actors, such as Ben Stiller in Mystery Men or Tim Allen in Out of Orbit Heroes .

Among his musical idols and his main influences are Prince and Michael Jackson , and among his favorite films he opts for the musical Chicago and The Rocky Horror Picture Show , a cult film from the 70s that was also full of musical numbers. He declares himself a fervent admirer of Johnny Depp because he loves actors who “put their all into what they are doing.”

“Corbie” or “Bleu Man”, as his friends call him, defines himself as a young man who is “always happy”. If someone had to describe him, they would say that he is “that curly-haired boy with that big smile on his face,” he says, smiling. Despite his indisputable success, Corbin is a very committed boy and collaborates with various charities. He currently lives with his parents and his three little sisters in Los Angeles.
