Comedienne, Helen Paul Recounts How She Survived A Horrific Accident
Veteran Nigerian comedienne, Helen Paul has recounted how she survived a horrific car accident in Abuja that made her suffer a concussion to her head.
The comedian stated in her post that many people are going through a lot in real life, however, when they come on social media, they portray a life of good living.
Using herself as an example, she stated that she hid the truth away from social media after getting involved in the accident and she had to wear sunglasses for a while.
During this period, when taking pictures with others, she would leave her sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them, however, the actual truth was that she didn’t want people to see how she was looking.
Sharing a picture of herself with a black eye she wrote; “Sometime ago, I was involved in a car accident in Abuja. I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while. When taking pictures with others, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them. Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star They were totally oblivious of the true situation. Not all things are truly what they appear to be. Many are hiding a lot and showing the best side on social media. Focus on the majors and forget the minors. Thank God every day for all blessings, great and small.”
However, reacting to the post many Instagram users claimed that the comedian Black eye must have been from a result of Domestic violence.
