Little known facts about Claudia Cardinale

  • Claudia Cardinale has always adopted political positions marked by progressive ideas. A left-wing woman, she has long been involved in the fight against AIDS, in the defense of the rights of women and homosexuals.
  • After a rape, she discreetly gave birth in London to a boy, Patrick, on October 19, 1958. “I was raped at 16, but from this violence my wonderful Patrick was born.” His producer, Franco Cristaldi, advises him to pass him off as his little brother so as not to upset his career. When her son was 6 or 7 years old, she revealed this weighty secret to a journalist.
