Due to a heart attack, on October 10, 2004, Christopher Reeve died prematurely, who was only 52 years old.

The interpreter will remain forever in the memory as the face of Superman . The truth is that the actor was identical to the character, as conceived in the comics. And although he could never get out of class, he played the occasional correct movie.

He was born on September 25, 1952 in New York. His childhood was tragically marked by the divorce of his parents. After finishing high school he studied acting at Cornell University, where he had Robin Williams as a classmate . Before finishing his degree, he was already working as a professional actor in the theater, and he was finally recruited for television, in the series “Love of Life”. He made his film debut with Red Alert: Sunken Neptune , from 1978, but the one that was a box office success was his second film, Superman , which made him a celebrity, and that he had as co-stars none other than Marlon Brando , Gene Hackman and Glenn Ford. Three sequels were made, although Reeve was hardly offered other jobs. His performance as a priest in Monseñor stands out , and his work in Las bostonianans and El reporter de la calle 42 . He was very humorous when he was associated only with the hero in the cape, because in Interferencias , a new version of Primera Plana , he played a guy with vertigo.

Unfortunately, in 1995 he suffered a horseback riding accident that left him a quadriplegic. But this did not stop him, as he created a foundation to collect funds to contribute to the investigation of spinal cord injuries. He even continued his acting career, as he participated in other telefilms in a new television version of Rear Window , and also, at the time of his death, he was producing Yankee Irving , a digitally animated film.
