Chrissie Fit (Chrissie Marie Fit) is an American actress and singer who rose to prominence after being cast as the character of Mercedes Juarez in the medical drama, General Hospital. Chrissie is also known for her role as CheeChee in the DCOM movie Teen Beach.

MEET THE NEW BARDEN BELLA

What’s it like to be the new Bella, to join a much-loved cast?
“It’s unreal! I was so nervous at first because they had all done the first set and there’s a certain rapport that you build through that experience. But, they all welcomed me with open arms and I can truly say that we are all friends. It was almost like being in a sorority again. The most hilarious sorority of all time.

If you had to pick one song that best showed off your voice and personality, what would it be?
“If we’re talking personality, it would have to be ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. I love the 70s. The music was so fun, upbeat and full of attitude. Vocal range, however, keeping with the 70s theme (why not, right?), something Donna Summer. I really like Amy Winehouse too, and the song that would sum up both my personality and my voice is Plus fort que moi from her F rang album.’

Every actress has one: What’s your story of how you ‘made it?’
“I’m not sure I have one or even want one. ‘Made it’ seems like you’ve already achieved your goal: you’re happy with where you are. I am not that girl. I’m still working and thinking about the next thing. I always want to feel that I can do more. Not just in my career, but in life. That’s what makes it exciting and challenging. »

Who is your favorite actress?
“She’s a little independent actress that most people don’t know yet. Her name is Meryl Streep. Keep your eyes peeled for that one!

Now for beauty: what does your daily skin routine look like?
“The first thing I do in the morning, after brushing my teeth (yuck, morning breath!), is wash my face. On a trip to Palm Springs, my friend introduced me to The Body Deli. I use their melon foaming cleanser which is totally organic and fresh. It’s a superfood skin care system. And I use just about everything – the day sunscreen, which is my daytime moisturizer, the nighttime treatment, and more. But, when I can’t make it to Palm Springs to restock, I use Aveeno Positively Radiant. I love him so much! At night, I wipe off my makeup with Dermalogica Purifying Wipes, then wash my face. I used to go to bed when I was a teenager with makeup, and my mom was yelling at me in Spanish about how I was killing my skin. She was right! If you’re too tired, at least use a makeup wipe. Finally, I dab some Shiseido White Lucent under my eyes. It is a concealer eye cream. With our crazy schedule, it really helps! »

What kind of makeup do you like to wear?
“Because I’m naturally tanned, not all bases work with my undertones. The MAC Matchmaster Foundation is perfect for me, and I’ve been using the foundation for so long it’s almost a question of loyalty. Nick Barose, an amazing makeup artist I love working with, just introduced me to Teadora Lip Butter and I’m obsessed. Before adding my favorite bold lip (I love bold lips), I need to moisturize my lips with Teadora. It is so good. NARS on my cheeks and Dior on my lashes, and I’m a happy girl! »

How do you normally wear your hair?
“Usually wavy, because I really like the volume.”

Favorite perfume of the moment?
“I’m a creature of habit when it comes to certain things, so I love the same perfume I’ve loved for years, Angel by Thierry Mugler.”

The best beauty advice you’ve ever received, and from whom?
“My mother told me two very important things: one, always wash your face before bed, and two, age gracefully. Love yourself no matter how many wrinkles or pimples.

The best life advice you’ve ever received, and from whom?
“My father may be a Buddha in disguise. He always gives me the best advice. Since I was a child, he instilled empathy in me. Walk a mile in another person’s shoes. I gained a lot of hindsight and patience doing this. ‘

If you were invited to the Oscars, who would you bring?
‘My brother. He’s my guy! It would also prevent my mom and dad from getting angry, because I took on each other. In fact, can I have about 30 tickets and bring my whole Cuban family? We will bring food and drinks. »

What are you most excited about in 2015?
‘ Pitch Perfect 2 , of course! It’s so funny. Everything is just on a different level. It’s gonna be so much fun! I’m also thrilled to be reprising my role as Chee Chee in Disney Channel Teen Beach 2 ! It was also a great experience, and I think kids who watched the first one will love the second one even more. I am delighted to write and have one of our scripts created. Almost all the possibilities offered by this new year. This is all going to be, dare I say it, awesome! ‘
