Chris O Donnell born “Christopher Eugene O’Donnell” is an American actor and former model. He is well known for playing Charlie Simms in Scent of a Woman, D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, Jack Foley in the drama Circle of Friends, Dick Grayson/Robin in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, Jason Brown in Robert Altman’s Cookie’s Fortune and Peter Garrett in Vertical Limit.
Chris currently stars as Special Agent G. Callen on the CBS crime drama television series NCIS: Los Angeles, a spin-off of NCIS

O’Donnell began his acting career in the 1986 episode of the television series Jack and Mike. He played the role in his film the role of Chris Macauley in the comedy-drama film Men Don’t Leave (1990). This was followed by roles in the hit comedy Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), School Ties (1992) as well as the drama film Scent of a Woman (1992) opposite Al Pacino.
He also starred in The Three Musketeers of 1993, Circle of Friends of 1995, In Love and War of 1996, The Bachelor of 1999 and the hit thriller Vertical Limit of 2000. He was also featured in 2 installments of the first Batman film series Batman Forever from 1995 and Batman & Robin from 1997.
He returned to the small screen in 2004 when he recorded a guest role in the final season of the legal drama series The Practice. He also had a recurring role on the hit medical series Grey’s Anatomy from 2005-2006 and was also featured in the TV miniseries The Company from 2007. As his television acting profile continued to soar, the he talented actor has also appeared in several films, including 2004’s Kinsey, 2008’s Max Payne and the 2008 comedy film Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.
He landed his biggest television role to date in 2009 when he was cast as Special Agent G. Callen, the main character of the long-running action series NCIS: Los Angeles from 2009 to present. . His performance earned him a People’s Choice Award nomination in 2017 for Favorite TV Drama Actor. NCIS: Los Angeles passed the ten-year mark in 2018 when its tenth season premiered on September 30, 2018.

As a film and television actor, Chris has made a name for himself. He rose to national prominence at the age of 22 in 1992’s “Scent of a Woman,” where his budding talent was evident opposite a blind ex-colonel and impossible to get along with a perfectly portrayed ex-military colonel Al. Pacino.
