Chris Janson is an American singer-songwriter. He rose to fame after his hit single, Buy Me a Boat in 2015, which also charted at number 33 on Hot Country Songs.
To date, he has released several singles and has written songs like I cling on, a love that I think will last, truck yes and few others.
Early life
Chris Janson was born on April 2, 1986 in Perryville, Missouri, USA. He is the son of Pierre Janson and Carrie (bowling) Janson . Johnson is a US citizen and is of white American ethnicity. Chris was into music and singing from a very young age.

Chris Janson began his music career in June 2009. At that time, he wrote two songs I Hope and A Love I Think Will Last with Holly Williams for her album, Here With Me . In the same year, Janson signed a contract with BNA Records and the first single from him, Until a Woman Comes was released in 2010.

Chris Janson is a married man. He is currently married to Kelly Lynn . The couple married July 4, 2010. Together they share two children: daughter Georgia Janson and son, Jesse Bo Janson, who was born in March 2014. Janson announced the news of their son’s birth via Twitter on March 24, 2014.
In total, Janson and his wife, Lynn, have four children, two from Lynn’s previous relationship. Janson adopted them shortly after marrying Lynn. The couple currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Janson was inspired to write the song, sustaining it after his first meeting with his then-wife-to-be Lynn.
