Chris Hemsworth

Born in Melbourne (Australia), Christopher Hemsworth is the middle of three brothers. Both the youngest, Luke Hemsworth, and the oldest, Liam Hemsworth are also dedicated to acting.
He began acting on television in his country, in various jobs, until he became especially popular there for his role in the series Home and Away . She decided that she had a chance to revalidate her success in Hollywood, so she soon gave up continuing to play her character, and bought a ticket to Los Angeles.
Once there, he had to live together with his brother, Liam, in the house of William Ward, their agent, until papers began to come out and he was able to afford his own apartment.
His first Hollywood film job was playing George Kirk, father of Chris Pine ‘s character , on Star Trek , under JJ Abrams . He then became a mysterious and reserved hiker in The Perfect Getaway , and a husband forced with his wife to steal to pay off a debt with a mobster, in Ca$h .
Hemsworth was in a relationship with actress Isabel Lucas , but eventually broke up with her. The aforementioned William Ward introduced him to an attractive actress whom he also represented, the Spanish Elsa Pataky , and immediately the spark of love arose. They got married in record time, three months after making their courtship official, in Indonesia, and in absolute secrecy, following the fashion started by “Pe” and Javier Bardem .
His great moment on the big screen came from the hand of Kenneth Branagh , who bet on him despite being practically unknown to star in the blockbuster Thor , adaptation of the Marvel character based on Norse mythology. “We waited and watched and searched for a long time, until we sensed we had exactly the right person. In his screen test, he told a story about one of Thor’s feats with such enthusiasm, grace, strength, and sense of danger, that we knew right away that he was our Thor,” says Branagh.
Hemsworth will repeat as the God of Thunder, in The Avengers , about the supergroup that brings together various superheroes, under the command of Joss Whedon . He has previously had time to shoot the horror film The Cabin in the Woods , alongside Richard Jenkins .
