Chris Cimino is an American meteorologist who appeared on WNBC television’s current affairs program, Today in New York in New York, New York. He also appeared as a backup weatherman for the NBC network’s Today program.

He joined WNBC in December 1995. Previously, Cimino worked at WTXF-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served as the weekend weatherman since January 1995.

Previously, he worked as a meteorologist in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the radio and television market with Compu-Weather and Metro Weather Service, and WROC-TV in Rochester, New York.

He also worked for the New York Yankees baseball outfit on September 20, 2004. The idea came after Cimino lost a bet to his eleven-year-old neighbor in which the Mets would need to win at least seventy-five matches; the Mets failed.

The report ended with Cimino’s partner, sports presenter Otis Livingston, getting in the way while dressed as the Mr Met mascot, ‘punching’ Cimino.
