Chloë Grace Moretz (born February 10, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American actress and model . Her mother is Teri (Duke), a nurse, and her father McCoy Lee Moretz , a plastic surgeon. She has four brothers, all older, including actor Trevor Duke-Moretz . His ancestors are mainly German and English.

She started doing roles from the age of six, with starring roles in the supernatural horror film The Amityville Horror (2005), the drama series Desperate Housewives (2006-07), the supernatural horror film The Eye (2008), the drama film The Poker House (2008), the drama series Dirty Sexy Money (2007-08), the romantic comedy film 500 Days of Summer (2009), and the Wimpy Kid ‘s Children’s Film Diary ( 2010).

In 2010, Chloë Grace Moretz starred as Hit-Girl in director Matthew Vaughn’s action film Kick-Ass (2010). although her role in the violent action film sparked some controversy, her portrayal was widely praised by critics.

In April 2016, it was announced that Chloe Grace would star as Cassie Sullivan in The 5th Wave (2016), another adaptation similar to The Hunger Games (2012), alongside Nick Robinson and Alex Roe. It was later announced that Chloe would play the female lead role of Digger in the film adaptation of Sam Munson’s novel “November Criminals.”

She was revealed to the general public in 2010, at the age of 13, in the role of Hit Girl in the action film Kick-Ass, by Matthew Vaughn. She then confirmed under the direction of great filmmakers: the horror film Let Me In (2010), by Matt Reeves, Hugo Cabret (2011), by Martin Scorsese and Dark Shadows (2012), by Tim Burton.
