Cheyenne Jackson was born as Cheyenne David Jackson on July 12, 1975 in Spokane, Washington, United States. He is the son of David Jackson and Sherri Jackson . He grew up in Oldtown, Idaho, which is known as one of the remote areas of northern Idaho near the Washington border. He has three siblings, including a sister and two brothers. He belongs to the American nationality and regarding the ethnicity/race of him, he is white American.
Jackson’s mother played the lead role behind his tremendous success, as she tutored him at home to regularly sing and play music by Joan Baez , Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell , and Elvis Presley. He initially started working as an advertising executive at a magazine and together they did some stage work and earned his Equity card.

Cheyenne Jackson landed her first professional stage role as Tony in West Side Story followed by The Happiest Guy , Children of Eden , Cabello , Carousel and The Rocky Horror Show among many other productions. Jackson’s lead role as Chad in the musical All Shook Up brought him strong reviews and much critical acclaim.
