Furstration has Chelsea fails to have a shot on target in the first half of a Premier League game under Thomas Tuchel

Following the first half battle between Chelsea and Man City, there have been growing frustration online that: for the first time under Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea has failed to have a shot on target in the first half of a Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.

No doubt, Manchester City took centre stage in the Premier League this lunchtime for the Stamford Bridge showdown with title rivals Chelsea (12.30 pm).

Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team have clocked up three wins and a draw from their opening five matches, while the Blues have taken 13 points from a possible 15.

However, the Pep side travelled to west London with a number of injury concerns.

They were without five senior players – John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Aleks Zinchenko, Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan – for the midweek Carabao Cup victory over Wycombe Wanderers, though a number were included in the travelling party on Friday night.

As attentions turn back to the Premier League, champions City won’t have to face Mason Mount or Christian Pulisic after both players were ruled out through injury.

Edouard Mendy will be out to stop Jack Grealish & Co. between the posts, though, after being passed fit.
