Charlie hunnam
Blond handsome. You walk like a badass Harley-Davidson. Black vest. Sons of Anarchy Patches . It is Jax Teller, the character that has brought fame to this young British man used to playing bad boy roles.
Born in the city of Newcastle, England, on April 10, 1980. Charlie is the son of Jane and William Hunnam, who died in 2013. As a child he began to be interested in acting and at the age of 9 he made his television debut on the English series Byker Grove (1989). He liked it so much that he began to attend theater classes and after several short-lived roles he began to make a name for himself with the successful series Queer as Folk (1999), about young homosexuals . That same year he made his big screen debut with What Happened to Harold Smith? , a comedy about telekinesis.
He married actress Katharine Towne, but in 2002 they divorced. After a life in England, Charlie decided to move to Los Angeles to continue growing as an actor. In the United States, he won the lead role in The Legend of Nicholas Nickleby , an adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel. But it is in 2003 when he already begins to achieve what he wanted, more relevant roles. As he himself said, his next three feature films would close his trilogy of psychotic characters. In Cold Mountain he worked with already proven actors and played the ruthless killer; in 2005 he returned to England to take on the role of Pete Dunham in Hooligans , a West Ham fan with a passion for brawling with rival fans; the post apocalypticChildren of Men closes the circle of eccentric characters.
His career skyrocketed with the premiere of the hit biker series Sons of Anarchy . In it he took the lead role as Jax Teller, the son of one of the band’s founders. The improvement in Charlie Hunnam’s performance was palpable as production progressed, his maturity as an actor as well as that of his character went hand in hand. Screenwriter Kurt Sutter’s creation came to an end in the spring of 2015 with a very successful ending.
As the biker seasons rolled by, Hunnam released The Ledge (2011), an independent film about love in which he worked with Liv Tyler . A year later we saw him in another feature film that went unnoticed, La huida , a thriller about a robbery. Another high point of her career is due to Pacific Rim , a science fiction movie in which she fights monsters. He is currently pending the release of several very promising projects such as La cumbre escarlata , again under the orders of Guillermo del Toro , this time in a horror production; and King Arthur , by Guy Ritchie, in which he will play King Arthur himself.
