QUOTES FROM CHAEL SONNEN

  • “Listen Wanderlei, I’m going to do a home invasion on you. I’ll cut the power to your house and the next thing you hear is me walking up your stairs in a pair of night vision goggles I bought from the back of Soldier of Fortune magazine. door, take a photo of you in bed with the Nogueira brothers working on your “jiu-jitsu”. I will take said quote without photo, post it on dorksfrombrazil.com, password – not required, username – not required. This, Wanderlei, is how you threaten someone. Dummy.’
  • “I was in Las Vegas when the Nogueira brothers first landed in America. There was a bus, it’s a true story. There was a bus that stopped at a red light, and Little Nog tried to give it a carrot, while Big Nog stroked it. He thought it was a horse. It really happened. He tried to feed a bus a carrot, and now you’re telling me this country has computers? I did not know. »
  • “Take Lance Armstrong. Lance Armstrong did a number of things and he gave himself cancer. He cheated, he took drugs and he gave himself cancer. Well, instead of saying ‘Hey listen, I made a mistake and gave myself cancer, don’t be like me’, he actually made himself the victim and then went out and took advantage of something like $15 million of this ‘Hey, poor me, let’s find a cure for cancer’ instead of just saying, ‘Look, here’s what I did, I screwed up, and I hope people learn from my mistakes. “You just look at these guys and can’t help but think, God, what a cheat. You have the whole Michael Phelps thing which is also a pothead thing. I’m just glad to be part of the company I’m in so I can put them in the cage and get the shit out of them. »
  • “You know, these guys want to talk about God; “Oh, I want to thank God. I want to thank God. “Look, I’m a God-fearing man, I go to church every Sunday and I’ve been doing that since I was a kid. But if I ever found out that God somehow cared about a borderline illegal fight on Saturday night, I would be so disappointed it would make me rethink my entire belief system.
  • “Anderson Silva is as fake as Mike Tyson was. They called him the toughest, ‘baddest man in the world’ but he wasn’t even the toughest guy in America and we had to sit and listen to this over and over as he was fighting a lot of cans of tomatoes. »
  • “Even though I thought I could get a submission, I’m not lying under a grown man with my legs spread wide on world television. Some guys subscribe to that theory, but I’m a Republican and we don’t. ‘
  • ‘My phone rings, they call me and say, ‘Chael, your testosterone is too high. ‘I say, ‘Well, how good was it? ‘They say: ‘0.7. ‘I said, ‘What is normal? ‘ They say, ‘0.6’; I said, “A tenth? You tell me I’m a tenth taller than the average man? Re-test that – you must have caught me on a bad day. ”
  • “We only had one (ring girl) and that was Chandella. The other was the IQ card girl. Arianny kind of walks around and shows her final test score. Once, when there was a title fight, she had five and we were very proud of her.
