1. In January 2011 he moved to Gaziantepspor . A Turkish club paid €400,000 to Eintracht Frankfurt .
2. He ran to the bottom of Gaziantepspor in his debut season, scoring 10 goals in 14 league games.
3. Besiktas decided to pay around 500,000 euros to Gaziantepspor to acquire his services. Tosun decided to take a 23 number shirt at his new club after Michael Jordan.
4. He failed to establish himself in the starting line-up for Besiktas during his first 2 seasons with the club. He was behind Demba Ba and Mario Gómez in the pecking order.
