Celebrity skincare tips: Why fancy body care products aren’t just for women
The allure of good skin care
Nowadays men are more and more likely to buy products that care for their skin. Some are not quite as aware of the benefits of skin care products until they see the results from other people like wives and girlfriends. Sometimes you have to look up to male colleagues to be convinced to try facial care products and who do we see on TV every day? Celebrities convince our male friends and partners to try skin care products.
Men have to keep in mind that women use products that are completely different than men because their skin is different and they need different products. Male skin tends to have thicker layers with larger pores that form more oil glands. But like everyone, your skin is different and you need products that suit your skin type. Good skincare, as any celebrity can say, means investing in products that work for you.
Good skin care doesn’t take much. For a basic regime, just invest in a good face wash, razor, aftershave and a good moisturizer. Facials and masks from time to time, whether at the spa or at home, help to remove dead skin and refresh your face. With these products, you will not only get a more youthful and fresh appearance, but you will also look healthier overall. And who doesn’t want to look (at least a little) like Russell Crowe or Brad Pitt, right?
A healthier look and a healthier you
Facial hair products from gels to razor aftershave can make a huge difference in how a man looks. Facial skin can be very sensitive to certain products. Therefore, it is very important to use products that are good for your skin to avoid irritation. For adult acne in particular, certain products are better for you than others.
Scrubs, serums, and lotions can do a lot of good for your skin, too, if you stick to a daily regimen. By taking care of your skin, you can prevent wrinkles and products with SPF (minimum SPF 30) help prevent skin cancer. Especially if you work outside or spend a lot of time outside, you need to make sure you use good skin care products with a high sun protection factor every day, just like movie stars do when shooting outdoors.
Celebrities with great skin
How exactly do celebrities achieve perfect skin? Is it something they were born with? Well, having good genes probably helps, but a few tips won’t hurt either:
David Beckham is known for great skincare with just a few steps, including an exfoliation with a face wash or mask, a light shimmer with tinted moisturizer, plucked brows, a blemish concealer and dark circles.
Ryan Reynolds did a PSA for melanoma and has stuck to a skincare regimen that includes products with SPF. Staying true to the message, he uses products with SPF and products that tighten pores and keep wrinkles at bay.
Ashton Kutcher never seems to age, always has a youthful face. Like Beckham and Reynolds, he uses SPF products and uses facials and microdermabrasion.
Are you beginning to see a pattern? It doesn’t take much, but with a few steps using quality products like The Art of Shaving Straight Razor, men can see a big improvement in their skin. As more men invest in skincare products, they’re finding that it’s not just for women. Even if you or someone else is already sticking to their skincare routine, that doesn’t mean they should stick to the same products. At different ages, your skin needs different products to take it. Throw away expired products and buy better quality advanced products to get the best effect. Fancy toiletries aren’t just for women and with the help of celebrities more and more men are finding out that every day!
