In 1996, Cédric entered acting, playing Steve Harvey’s friend Cedric Jackie Robinson on the sitcom, The Steve Harvey Show . His acting career grew and he began appearing in films including Dr. Dolittle 2 , Barber Shop , Barbershop 2: Back to Business , Ride , Serving Sara , Johnson Family Vacation , Intolerable Cruelty , Man of Home , Lemony Snicket, A Series of Unfortunate Events , Madagascar and Be Cool .
