BIOGRAPHY OF CECILY CHAPMAN

Cecily Chapman is an American reality television star and bail bondsman. She is the adopted daughter of American bountsman Duane Chapman through her marriage to Italian-American bounty hunter Beth Smith .

Chapman is popularly known for appearing alongside her parents and brother in the CMT series Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, a spinoff of the Dog the Bounty Hunter series.

Cecily Barmore Chapman was born on June 19, 1993 in Denver, Colorado, United States. She turns 26 in 2019.

Cecily was born to Beth Smith and Keith A. Barmore. Her parents married in 1991, but divorced soon after. She then married the famous bounty hunter Duane Chapman who adopted her.

She has three half-siblings: Bonnie Joanne Chapman, Garry Chapman and Dominic Davis from her mother’s other marriages. Through her adoptive father, Dog, she has nine brothers-in-law; Christopher Michael Hecht, Duane Lee Chapman II and Leland Chapman , Zebediah Duane Chapman, Wesley Chapman, JR “James” Chapman, Barbara Katie “BK” Chapman, (1982-2006), Tucker Dee Chapman, and Lyssa “Baby Lyssa” Rae Chapman . His half-brother Leland and his son Dakota starred alongside him in Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.

Her mother Beth Chapman revealed she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer on September 14, 2017 after months of persistent coughing. Her adoptive father, Dog, decided to share the story with his fans. The result was an A&E special series called “Dog and Beth: Fight of their Lives,” which premiered on November 27, 2017.

Dog then shared the diagnostic report with his family, the grueling 13-hour surgery to remove the stage 2 tumor and the aftermath in September 2017.

Her mother underwent emergency surgery in November 2018, revealing the cancer had returned. Her father gave an update on her health to Us Weekly saying: ‘She had a lump in her throat twice as big as last time, and they performed emergency surgery yesterday. They made a hole in her throat so she could breathe; she can still talk.

In June 2019, her father, Dog, confirmed that his wife had been placed in a medically induced coma amid her battle with cancer. “Please say your prayers for Beth now,” he tweeted at the time.

CECILY CHAPMAN EDUCATION

Chapman attended Sacred Hearts Academy which is located at 3253 Waiʻalae Avenue, in the town of Kaimuki in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. It is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school for girls founded in 1909 to serve the needs of early Hawaiian Catholics in the former Territory of Hawaii.

She was a pageant queen in her very early years and she won many pageants. She also grew up loving fashion, photography and modeling. Chapman holds a Certified Bail Agent (CBA) designation from the national association of professional surety bonds, Professional Bail Agents of the United States.

CECILY CHAPMAN DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER

Cecily appeared on the A&E series Dog the Bounty Hunter, which chronicled Duane “Dog” Chapman’s experiences as a bounty hunter. The series aired for eight seasons and was canceled by A&E on May 21, 2012. Cecilyb will also appear in a new series, Dog’s Most Wanted, which will air on WGN America in 2020.
