The St. Louis Rams traded a draft pick to the Texans for Keenum in 2015, where he played until signing as a free agent in 2017 with the Minnesota Vikings.
Sam Bradford was injured after the start, Keenum came on and had a career year, setting highs in starts, passing yards, completions and touchdowns. He led the Vikings to a 13-game regular season, followed by a last-second win, dubbed the Minneapolis Miracle, over the New Orleans Saints in the playoffs. CASE KEENUM CONTRACT
Keenum reportedly agreed to a 3-year, $18 million free agency deal. The Cleveland Browns agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal Monday with Keenum that includes $10 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Keenum signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings on March 31, 2017. He started the Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, completing 20 of 37 passes for 167 yards in a 26–9 loss in due to an injury to Sam Bradford. In the next game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings won by a score of 34–17.
