Cary Elwes
The obliging and tireless groom who fell in love in “The Princess Bride”, Cary Elwes, and recently rescued for the third season of “Stranger Things”. Little has been known about his career in recent decades, but the British actor has not stopped being active.
Born in Westminster (London) on October 26, 1962, son of the painter Dominick Elwes and the interior designer Tessa Georgina Kennedy. He is the youngest of the couple’s three children, his older brothers being producer Cassian Elwes and artist Damian Elwes. He grew up in London, but after completing his basic studies he moved to the United States to study drama at Sarah Lawrence College. He did not graduate, as he dropped out two years after starting his film career.
