  1. Daly struggled with anxiety and panic attacks. At one point, he even had to check into a hospital because he feared the tightness he felt in his body after an anxiety attack was a heart attack.
  2. When he was 5 years old, his father died of bladder cancer. He has revealed in his interviews that this incident served as a starting point for his anxiety issues.
  3. To combat his panic attacks and anxiety attacks, he has undertaken cognitive therapy, which teaches the model of anxiety and provides tools to combat it. The muscle retention relaxation has also helped him.
  4. While in high school, Carson was on the school’s golf team. He also played golf at university.
  5. At the age of 18 he was an intern for Jimmy Kimmel’s radio show in Palm Springs, California.
  6. He began his broadcasting career with his show at radio station KOME in San Jose, California. He was later given the 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot on KOME’s sister station KROQ.
  7. His work as a radio host caught the attention of MTV executives, and he was hired by the station as a permanent VJ. Because of his new job, he had to move to New York City.
