Carrie Ann Inaba is an American dancer, host, choreographer, actress, and singer on The Talk of CBS Daytime Show since 2017, as well as a judge on Dancing With the Stars since 2005. She also hosted 1 vs. 100 , a game TV show , from 2010 to 2011. She had several roles as a dancer in films such as Lord of Illusions (1995), Showgirls (1995), Monster Mash: The Movie (1995), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Flagellated Me (1999) and more once in Austin Powers in Goldmember(2002) as identical twin Fook YuDiane Mizota. As a singer, she won talent shows in Hawaii and Japan and was recognized as a pop star in Japan, but later focused on another career. Personal trainer
She has struggled with neck and spine pain since she was about 8 years old due to an injury. Later in life, Carrie was diagnosed with spinal stenosis as a result of repeated injuries and had to stop exercising for a while.
She slowly began training again with a personal trainer over the years, at a slower pace, and now enjoys doing yoga and aerobics, as well as boxing and martial arts at a lower intensity to stay in shape without injuring herself.

- Carrie loved dancing from a young age and used it to dance in her backyard which overlooked the Pacific Ocean. She received her first dance instructions at the age of 3 in a creative movement class.
- Carrie initially wanted to be a singer in Japan but realized that the industry was cultivating the way singers conformed to a particular form rather than encouraging their artistic freedom. So in 1988 she moved to the United States.
- She was asked to shave her hair to become a principal dancer on Madonna’s Girlie Show World Tour in 1993. She accepted as she felt the exposure was worth it.
- After a notable appearance as co-host of The Talk since 2017, she has succeeded Julie Chen as official, and Carrie has had the opportunity to host celebrities such as Keanu Reeves, Daniel Radcliffe, Kobe Bryant, Matt LeBlanc, Gwen Stefani, and others.
