Carole Ghosn (born October 1966) is a Lebanese businesswoman and public figure from Beirut, Lebanon. She is well identified as the second wife of Carlos Ghosn (Brazilian born French businessman).
He held many positions in his career, including Chairman and CEO of Renault, Chairman and CEO of Nissan, and Chairman of Mitsubishi Motors. Carlos even served as president of AvtoVAZ and CEO of Michelin North America.
In addition, the businessman was first hired by the then CEO of Renault, Louis Schweitzer, as his deputy. Ghosn later helped bring the company out of bankruptcy in 1999 by developing many plans.
He even earned the nickname “Mr. Fix it up”. Carlos was also named Fortune’s Asian Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002. On April 1, 2017, he resigned as CEO of Nissan. Last year, on November 19, 2018, Ghosn was arrested at the Haneda airport.
He was accused of underestimating his earnings and misusing company assets. In fact, Nissan also removed him from the position of president on November 22, 2018.

Carole Ghosn, 53, married her husband Carlos Ghosn in May 2016 after dating him for a couple of years in a private ceremony. Her spouse then celebrated her married life in October 2016.

In November 2018, Renault and the French government initially supported Carole’s spouse. However, they stopped supporting him after the businessman was found guilty. He was subsequently suspended as CEO and Chairman of Renault on January 24, 2019.
In March 2019, Carlos was released on bail, but was arrested again in Tokyo on April 4, 2019. He was detained on new charges of embezzlement from Nissan. He was released again on April 25, 2019 on bail.
In June 2019, Ghosn came under fire again after Renault discovered 11 million euros in questionable spending. He also led a French investigation and raids. On December 30, 2019, Ghosn fled Japan to Lebanon and broke the terms of his bail.
