CARLOS SEGARRA: AGE AND PARTNER OF THE GUEST OF ‘PASAPALABRA’

Published

on

Born in the city of Barcelona in 1961, at only 15 he already began to go on stage to play versions of other mythical rock groups. His first band was called Teddy, Loquillo y la amigos de él, which he formed together with several friends, including the well-known singer Loquillo.

Although both friends came to succeed, they did so in their separate careers later. While Carlos went through Correo Viejo before forming Los Rebeldes, Loquillo has been an institution for decades.

In addition to Segarra, Los Rebeldes is formed by Aurelio Morata on bass and Moisés Sorolla on drums. The three have recorded well-remembered songs such as ‘Mediterranean’, ‘Under the moonlight’, ‘A Spaniard in New York’, ‘I don’t like to work’, ‘My generation’ or ‘Mescaline’, among others.

He has also worked on the composition of soundtracks for films such as ‘What do women laugh at?’ and the film adaptation of Las edades de Lulú’, the novel by Almudena Grande.

His private life is a mystery that he jealously guards, although in an interview in 2020 with La Vanguardia he wanted to give a few bits: “I don’t have children, my wife has daughters.” He also explained that at that time she was living “in a mountain town near Benidorm.”

GUEST OF ‘PASAPALABRA’

Carlos Segarra will be on Roberto Leal’s set from Tuesday 25 to next Thursday 27 October with other famous guests such as Neus Sanz and Olivia Molina and David Fernández .
