BIOGRAPHY OF CARL MARINO
Carl Marino is an American actor. He is famous in the Investigation Discovery Network series, Homicide Hunter where he played the role of Joe Kenda. Marino is also the former Deputy Sheriff who worked in upstate New York for 17 years. He also signed with a modeling firm in New York and worked on print and commercial projects.
After his service and the deaths of both his parents, Carl moved to California to be closer to some of his family members who had moved there years before. In California, he signed with a modeling agency there. Shortly after arriving, he auditioned for a feature film, got the role, and made his big-screen debut in the independent film Sedona’s Rule (2010).
Almost immediately after that, he was cast on the NBC show “Trauma” (2009) _ which was filming in San Francisco and became a recurring guest star. Since then, Carl has worked and appeared in numerous feature films, cable and network television shows, and national commercials.
He is best known for portraying lead detective Lt. Joe Kenda on the hit Investigation Discovery TV show “Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda” for 7 seasons.

The series features the career of retired detective Joe Kenda from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kenda joined the department in 1973 and was promoted to detective in 1977 and assigned to the burglary division. However, after solving a double shootout that veteran detectives believed was unsolvable, he was assigned to the homicide division.
