BIOGRAPHY OF CANDICE CRAWFORD
Candice Crawford (Candice Loren Crawford) is an American born on December 16, 1986 in Lubbock, Texas, USA. is the wife of former NFL quarterback Tony Romo. She is a former journalist and beauty queen. In 2008, she was crowned Miss Missouri and was a contestant for Miss USA.
While studying journalism at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Candice worked as a reporter and sports presenter at KOMU-TV, a local station. She was also the host of ‘The Closers’, a weekly sports program.
She reported for Dallas Cowboys on their CBS segment The Blitz while an intern for two summers. She has also worked behind the camera for programs such as KOMU’s Friday Night Lights.
She then joined CW33 (KDAF), a television network serving the Dallas, Texas area. She covered sports competitions, festivals and high school events. She also had her own “Up All Night” segment, which gave information on different places night owls could hang out in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She also co-hosted the network show The RC Project and another covering the Dallas Cowboys called Special Edition, a weekend sports show.
Candice is also co-owner of “Hawk + Sloane”, an essential oil spray company aimed at parents. She founded the company with Holly Siglin, her longtime friend from college.
The company’s name was given from the names of their first son after they both found out they had the same expected delivery date for the boys.
