Caitlin Barlow is an American actress and producer best known for appearing as Cecilia Cannon on the television series ‘Teachers’ which airs on TV Land. Barlow rose to fame thanks to a comedy short called Brookfield Ladies’ TV CLUB: Breaking Bad as Diane, which premiered on September 22, 2013.

Early age and education
Caitlin Barlow was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Before fame, Barlow was an elementary school teacher. She subsequently earned her Master’s in Bilingual Education from DePaul University. Barlow taught fourth grade at Chicago Public School before moving to Los Angeles and pursuing her dreams.
Caitlin Barlow’s family moved around a lot growing up, landing in Rolling Meadows when she was 12 years old. Barlow attended Plum Grove Junior High School and then moved to Palatine’s Fremd High School, where she had her first opportunity for a comedic role on stage. the nasty queen, in the musical ‘Once Upon a Matress’.

After graduation, Barlow approached Illinois State University. Later, she went to Japan to teach English as a second language. “It was quite a challenge to teach them,” says Barlow. Teaching was Barlow’s all-time favorite hobby, as she later fell in love with doing this job.
Later, in Chicago, Caitlin Barlow used to teach by day and even work as a comedian by night. Barlow was an active member of the Chicago comedy community. She used to perform various improv and comedy shows at the iO Theatre, The Annoyance Theater and The Second City.
Barlow has acted in several comedy shorts, including ‘Tool T-shirt’, which won him the 2011 Best Comedy Short Film at the Just For Laughs Festival award for. Barlow helped form the Katydids in 2009, and soon the group began performing improv shows at various theaters.
Barlow is currently appearing in a comedy television series. Teachers where she stars along with Cate Freedman , Katy Colloton , etc.
