Born on February 22, 1982 in Ankara, Turkey, Buğra Gülsoy is an actor who has become well known to the public thanks to his work on the small screen. His passion for the world of acting was practically born with him, since at the age of 13 he joined the theater, while studying in high school. In 2004 Gülsoy graduated from the Eastern Mediterranean University with a degree in Architecture.
During his years of study, his life began to change with the new environment, but it was a friend who once again encouraged him to join a theater group.After graduation, between 2004 and 2008, he began acting at the National Theater of Cyprus and later, in 2007, he studied film in a competition organized under the United Nations Development Program.
Among his training, his knowledge as a screenwriter, producer, director, graphic designer, writer and photographer also stands out. In addition, he is one of the founders of the Cyprus International Short Film Festival, holding the position of project designer and director of the organization.
Regarding his projects on the small and big screen, fictions such as ‘Kızım’, ‘Azize’, ‘Kuzey Güney’, ‘Güneşi Gördüm’, among others, stand out. Likewise, he has also joined the world of literature and has written two books, ‘Birinci Kıyamet: Güneşin Battığı Yer0 in the year 2019 and ‘İkinci Kıyamet: Güneşin Doğduğu Yer’ in 2020.

On a personal level, Buğra Gülsoy shows himself to be a faithful follower of social networks. In fact, he has more than 3 million followers on his Instagram account, a platform where he also shares his closest and most intimate face. Likewise, he has shown that, apart from acting, he is a great fan of sports, photography and spending time with the family.
On the other hand, in the field of love, on July 22, 2011, the actor married actress Burcu Kara. However, in 2012 it was reported that the couple began divorce proceedings, bringing their love story to an end. Currently, Buğra Gülsoy has been married to Nilüfer Gürbüz , the daughter of a former Turkish soccer player, since September 2018, and they are both parents to a son named Cem.
