Bruce Bowen is a retired American professional basketball player turned basketball analyst. He played for the NBA as part of the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, and San Antonio Spurs, winning the NBA championship three times with the latter.

How old is Bruce Bowen? What is the height of him?

Bruce Bowen was born Bruce Eric Bowen, Jr., the son of Bruce Bowen, Sr .. and Dietra Campbell . The 49-year-old man is 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 meters) tall and weighs 200 pounds (91 kg).

Bowen was born and raised in Merced, California, in what was by all accounts a broken home with drug-addicted parents. He attended the local West Fresno Edison High School and later, California State University, Fullerton.

Race

Despite impressing as a college basketball player, Bowen went undrafted in the 1993 NBA draft and joined French basketball leagues such as Le Havre (1993-4), Évreux (1994-5) and Besançon (1996- 7). He also played for the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) teams Fort Wayne Fury (1995) and Rockford Lightning (1995-6).

Bowen was selected by the Boston Celtics during the 1997–98 NBA season and spent two seasons with them. He signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for the 1999-2000 NBA season before being traded to the Chicago Bulls before landing with the Miami Heat. He eventually found his footing as the defensive stopper and was voted to the All-Defensive Second Team.
