BIOGRAPHY OF BROOKE BURNS

Brooke Burns (born as Brooke Elizabeth Burns) , is an American model, actress, and television personality. She was born on March 16, 1978 in Dallas, Texas to Brad and Betsy Burns. Burns has two sisters.

She was a ballet dancer for 12 years as a child and started modeling at 15 after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament in a skiing accident. The serious skiing accident at age 14 prevented Brooke from pursuing her dream: she no longer had the knee bending to become a great ballerina. Her mother, convinced of her daughter’s unique talents, sent her to modeling as a replacement plan the following year. At age 16, Brooke began appearing in several American and European fashion magazines while continuing to attend school.

Camera lenses quickly became a video camera when she advertised the Root Beer Mug and several popular restaurants. The commercials then took her to the successful auditions for Out of the Blue, a series filmed at Sea World in Orlando, Florida.

After her success in Orlando, Brooke needed changes. She decided to move to Los Angeles, the capital of cinema. Shortly after arriving, she auditioned for an episode of Baywatch but was unsuccessful. However, she was called back six months later to play the permanent role of Jessie Owens in Baywatch. It was the launch of his career.

It was at the same time that she met her future husband: Julian McMahon, the interpreter of Cole Turner in the popular WB series Charmed. They met through their agents: Brooke’s agent suggested she go to the premiere of Why Do Fools Fall In Love with this handsome Aussie. When they saw each other, they immediately fell in love. They got engaged in December 1999 and married two weeks later on December 22 at St. Mark’s Church in Sydney, Australia.

While starring in Baywatch, she appeared in a few episodes of Ally McBeal, where she played a fictional character from Calista Flockhart’s Delusions. After two seasons, including one on Baywatch Hawaii, she announced her departure from the show. She had just learned that a dream she had cherished since the age of 12 was about to come true: she was expecting her very first child.

On Friday, June 9, 2000, Brooke and Julian welcomed baby Madison Elizabeth into their lives. The same year, Brooke decides to go to the cinema and accepts a small but important role in the comedy Shallow Hal. She plays Katrina, a woman whose inner beauty turns into a goddess.

In March of the following year, Brooke and Julian separated. The cause would be due to an infidelity on the part of Julian with his partner in Charmed, Shannon Doherty. The divorce was formalized in September 2001. That same year, she starred as Vicki Vale in a Batman commercial for OnStar.

Her next big opportunity was after appearing on a celebrity edition of Fear Factor, where she had to jump off the roof of a double-decker high-speed bus. The NBC network producers were impressed with his charisma and sense of adventure and offered him to host a new reality/game show called Dog Eat Dog. She gladly accepted the offer and the program has received high marks since its inception.

She then landed a role in the movie Death to the Supermodels and the new FOX network series: North Shore. She plays Nicole Booth, the public relations manager of a Hawaiian luxury hotel. The series was unfortunately not renewed for a second season due to low ratings.

It was during the year 2003 that Brooke began a beautiful love story with Bruce Willis. They were introduced to each other by Steve Bing in November 2002, but didn’t start dating until the following year. Although 23 years apart, many affinities brought them together and, on April 4 of the following year, Bruce laid hands with Brooke in a limousine on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. She says yes without hesitation but their busy schedule will suit their relationship a few weeks later. On June 2, they announced their breakup. They are still friends today, which Brooke loved because she got along very well with Bruce’s three daughters and wanted to keep in touch with them.

She will then play in a few films including The Salon, Single White Female 2: Psycho, Murder On Spec and Time And Again.

But November 11, 2005 will change Brooke’s life forever. It was on this day that she fractured a bone in her neck after hitting her head while diving in her swimming pool. She was hospitalized in a clinic in Los Angeles and underwent minor surgery. She was discharged from the clinic four days later but had to wear a prosthesis around the clock for three months. Luckily, she had no permanent damage and still thanked her friend, a former firefighter who was with her at the time of the accident and who knew what to do while waiting for the ambulance. Since then, she has been a spokesperson for the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation.

The following January, she began filming a new WB series, Pepper Dennis. She plays Kathy Dinkle, Pepper Dennis’ sister played by Rebecca Romijn. However, the series was not picked up when the WB and UPN networks merged to become the CW.

In late spring 2007, she adopted an adorable Maltese cross with a year-and-a-half-old black poodle, whom she named Max.

Brooke then acted in a few independent films: Urban Decay – released in 2007, The Art of Travel – released in 2008, Trial By Fire – released in 2008 and Dancing Trees (not yet released in the United States).

She was recently seen in the series Miss/Guided, produced by Ashton Kutcher, where she portrays the beautiful and confident Lisa Germain. Unfortunately, the series has not been renewed for a second season. His most recent projects are the pilot for the series Mistresses (which did not make the cut) and the co-host of the FOX network game, Hole in the Wall, the American adaptation of the famous Japanese game (also called “The tetris”). Human / The Human Tetris”).
