Brock Lesnar, born Brock Edward Lesnar is a professional wrestler, former professional footballer and mixed martial artist. He performs under Raw in WWE. He is the current Universal Champion.
Brock started wrestling as an amateur in college and university. He signed with WWE in 2000. Lesnar was the youngest winner of the WWE Championship, at 25 years old. He left WWE to pursue a career in the NFL. Prior to his removal from the team in the 2004 season, he was named defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings. The following year, he returned to wrestling with him signing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He pursued a career in mixed martial arts in 2006.
Lesnar is a Republican Party supporter. Brock is also a member of the National Rifle Association. He made an appearance at their annual meeting in May 2011. He joined the Army National Guard when he was 17 years old. Here he was assigned a desk job after it became apparent he had red-green color blindness. He lost his job after failing a computer typing test. He then worked for a construction company.

He attended Webster High School. Here he played football in addition to participating in amateur wrestling. He came in third place in the state championships in his senior year.
He then attended Bismarck State College. While here, he won the National Junior College Athletic Association Heavyweight Wrestling Championship. It was in his second year.
During his junior and senior years, he transferred to the University of Minnesota. This was made possible through a wrestling grant. In his senior year in 2000, he won the National Collegiate Athletic Association. His overall college record after four years is 106-5.

He signed to the UFC in 2008. Here he caused a sensation at the box office, taking part in some of the best-selling pay-per-view events in UFC history.
He retired from the UFC after a fight loss in December. Lesnar returned to WWE after an eight-year absence in April 2012. He returned to the UFC while still under contract with WWE. Following his fight, doping suspension and fine, he retired from MMA for the second time in 2017. Brock gets up every morning before dawn to do his morning chores. He created an unconventional routine to build strength, speed and power. Brock developed routine and discipline while growing up on the farm. He realizes that it is important to exercise, maintain a diet and supplementation. Brock consumes a large amount of calories daily. Lesnar trains twice a day four times a week. In the morning session he focuses on fighting techniques and in the evening session he emphasizes running and strength training.

He returned to WWE in 2012. He was brought back by Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis. The action was cited as a move to bring back legitimacy to WWE. On October 20, 2007, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced him as a fighter. He made his debut on February 2, 2008 at UFC 81: Breaking Point. His first match ended in a loss against Frank Mir. It was submitted at 1:30 of the first round.
His second fight on August 9 at UFC 87 against Heath Herring resulted in a win. On November 15 at UFC 91, he became UFC heavyweight champion after defeating Randy Couture by technical knockout (TKO). The victory came in the second round of the match. He earned Beatdown of the Year honors in 2009. This was due to his successful defense of his title in a rematch with Mir at UFC 100. This was on July 11, 2009.

The victory was by technical knockout in the second round. After a long absence from the UFC due to illness, he returned, facing Shane Carwin at UFC 116 on July 3, 2010. He won the match in the second round after submitting Carwin. After the win, he became the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion. He lost his title to Cain Velasquez on October 23 at UFC 121. The loss came via first-round TKO.
He became a trainer on the reality series, The Ultimate Fighter in its 13th season. It was January 11, 2011. However, he had another bout of diverticulitis and had to retire from training and fighting.
